The Catholic Life of the school is given the highest priority and reflects the ethos and mission of the school. Children are supported to develop a meaningful understanding of Church liturgical year, its seasons, rites and symbols. As a school community we focus on the importance of prayer and the way in which this supports our close relationship with God. Teaching in RE ensures that the children know they are created in the image and likeness of God and as a result are valued and cared for. We promote the teachings of Jesus through fostering an appreciation of following in his way and showing reverence towards the Gospel Values. Daily prayer opportunities allow the children to focus their hearts and minds on God and develop a closer personal relationship with him. Children are encouraged to understand their role in living out their faith and our duties in relation to Catholic Social Teaching.
As a school, we strive to celebrate, develop and enhance the Catholic Life of all our children.
