Head Teacher
We are a two form entry Catholic primary school with a nursery, and are located between The Oval and Vauxhall, just south of the Thames. Our school is centred on Christ and his teachings of love, peace and justice, our aim being to let the light of Christ shine through and from every child.
All staff have the highest expectations of every child in every area – the children’s learning, their attitude, their behaviour and the presentation of themselves and their work. The children are taught to be respectful to all adults as well as their peers, to be resilient when things go wrong and to reflect on and take responsibility for their actions.
These values and skills are critical for later life and thus need to be learnt and embedded when young.
The focus in all lessons is the quality of learning for every pupil to ensure that progress in learning is maximised at all times. The atmosphere in the school is calm and caring, yet happy and energised.
You will be able to find all of the key information about the school, here on the website. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Do contact the office should you wish me to take you on a tour where you will be able to experience life at St Anne’s for yourself!
