On Friday 21st September, 4-6pm, our school community came together to celebrate our annual International Evening – it’s our most popular event of the year!
Our children and families came dressed in traditional costumes and brought food from their countries to share. We had food tables from Portugal, Eritrea, Ethiopia, England, Poland, Ecuador, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Spain, Thailand, Ivory Coast, Sri Lanka, Columbia, Congo (DRC) and Latvia. Yum! We also had our caterers, Principals, offering tasters of the vegetarian food and a selection of deserts that are on offer at lunch time for the children. Not to mention the popular smoothie bike which the children and adults had a chance to operate!
Each year group, from Early Years to Y6, performed a song from a different country. Despite the windy weather, a wonderful time was had by all. Thank you so much to everyone for coming along, joining in and helping to celebrate what makes St Anne’s so special.
